Escrow closed this morning, so I am now officially homeless! Yay. Knowing I will have a new house in two weeks kind of takes the sting out, though.

So why didn't y'all choose to rent back for a couple weeks?
So why didn't y'all choose to rent back for a couple weeks? And I didn't know there were any basements in Westhaven.
The new owners wanted to get in there and start gutting the place (or is it remodeling?), so we had to be out. My poor home is now full of holes. With regard to basements — the folks have a Japanese pole house, but instead of having a nice big empty 10 foot space underneath their house, they decided to enclose it to create garages, a laundry room, rec room, guesthouse and storage. It sounds more depressing saying I live in my parents' basement than that I live in their rec-room . . .
