Sigh . . . Big Blue appears to be shooting for the title Big Perv these days, if my server logs are any indication. Sometime in the wee hours of Saturday, an IP address (170.224.224.156) belonging to Sequent Computer Systems, Incorporated started trying to hit my disabled mt-comments.cgi with a bunch of porn spam (at least I assume the%20femdom&email=femdom@femdom.com, sending out notices for a “filthy teen” site is porn. Maybe it’s just body cleansing products, and I’m getting worked up for nothing . . . ).

I am going to ramble, so be warned. So, where were all of the pro-death folks when Staff Sgt. Johnny M. Horne Jr. decided that executing an injured Iraqi teen was the humane thing to do? Or are Iraqis not real people? Had he done that here in the states, he’d be labeled a murderer and actually serve a real sentence. As it is, he gets three years in prison. With things like this occurring, no wonder the Iraqis don’t think all that highly of us. Maybe if we at least pretended to value their lives . . .
