War
We are a nation at war. We are a nation at war with an enemy that hates everything about us. To them, we are an abomination. Our freedom, our free speech, our religious tolerance, our clarity: All obminations. They hate the fact that we offer equal rights for women and minorities. They hate our music, our affluence, our education. They hate that we accept the Jew and the Christian, the Muslim and the atheist. We are elite and we are infidels. Every day they work to destroy us.
Every day they attack America and the American way, our way of life. They infiltrate our country, poison our environment, and recruit for their cause of hate. They commit acts of terror on a daily basis. Their goal, their greatest desire, is to see us crushed — to see us live in ignorance if we live at all. To poison our air, our water, to destroy all we hold dear. To leave us broken, broke, without hope and living in servitude. Our enemy now controls the minds of over half of America. Our enemy is the Republican. Their greatest allies are deceit, stupidity, and greed. Their greatest fears are peace and freedom. Their’s is a religion of hate — they kill in the name of god. Women, children, and the mentally ill are frequently their tartgets. Deceit, treachery, and lies are their arsenal: Anything to advance their cause. How do we fight back? I am not sure.
I see two paths: Join them in the gutter and lie; spread fear, uncertainty and doubt, or choose the high road and offer a vision of America with hope. Point out the lies they offer and provide reason. Try to educate our fellow man and hope he is capable of making an intelligent decision (yes, I realize I am not being politically correct here). There are two paths before us. Unfortunately, we have so far chosen to navigate a bastard path between these two, which makes us look stupid. I would choose the high road, even though it is the harder of the two. Eventually, I would hope that reason and compassion would win. If not, there is always secession.
